My name is Gedeon Maheux and I am the co-founder of the popular pixel website, the Iconfactory. I was born and raised in Laconia, NH and attended college at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. I hold a BA in Graphic Design and a MFA in Electronic Media Design, both from R.I.T. I have helped to design some of the most recognized icon suites in the world including those seen in Microsoft’s Windows XP and Vista operating systems, AOL, Netscape and PalmOne.
I currently live in Colfax, NC with my awesome wife Mindy and our crazy animals, Bear, Woody and Havoc. I am a sci-fi fan, amateur cook, cancer survivor, and all around geek boy.
