The experience may be light, but receiving regular briefings from the adjutant general of the National Guard on Russian Military jet incursions into Alaskan airspace and receiving Russian trade delegations sounds like something of substance. It's a hell of a lot better than Obama asserting that the four years he spent living in Indonesia as a child really helped him develop a "world" view and somehow gives him credence on the world stage. I would say that it helped him to develop an "Indonesia" view. I don't know what kind of credibility it will give him when dealing with the leaders of the world. Oh, you lived in Indonesia when you were ten?
