Good to hear jc! I'm glad I could point you in their direction. I do like them more than most places around Greensboro I have to say.

Next up is the Lock, Stock and Bagel place that was suggested in the Manhattan review comments!

Ooooh! A new place to try, very cool. Thanks so much JC, I'll give it a go for sure. I show it to be on Battleground Ave. is this the location you meant?

My stomach is grumbling already. :-)

Thanks for the review of Giacomos. Its been several years since I've been there but the review appears spot on from what I remember. My favorite Italian Sub around here is at Lox, Stock, and Bagels. Get extra cherry peppers. Just thinking about it is making me hungry.

Nice write-up Ged. Now you have me jonesing to try Dibella's and I haven't been north of Hershey Pa. in 27 years!

Try timing your next Giacomo's visit to a Friday lunch time when they make these little marinated mozzarella balls (Bocconcini) that are so popular they sell out by late afternoon.

Sounds like the perfect place to get a wonderfully huge, and delicious sub! I might be able to send Anna & Dave there to do some scouting for me since they brought Dibella's from Ohio. Seems like the Buckeye state could be the motherland of submarine sandwiches. I wonder if anyone has done some research on that...

Galluci's, Euclid Avenue at E. 66th St, Cleveland, Ohio.

Yeah, it's a long drive for a great sub, but if you're ever up there, stop in.
